Growing Hops 4. Progress and Problems

The three rhyzomes that came up, Goldings, Perle, Willamette, are doing well. They have put up numerous shoots and the bines are growing. I decided not to string them up for height and let almost all the shoots grow. The focus is on establishing a robust root system for next year.

There appears to be a problem with the Goldings. Some of the leaves are odd looking. Reading on the net it looks like I might have too much water, mineral deficiency, or spider mites.
